Our Vision, Our Vows, and Our Commitments
I. Surrender to the Mystery
The Source and Heart and Destiny of Everything
is Love’s Holy Mystery.
We Live in Ever-Deepening Surrender
with this Mystery.
- We cultivate awe and wonder: We are here to stand and walk in awe of the mystery of being here on earth, abiding in the spirit of wonder.
- We cultivate relaxed trust in the flow of life: We free-fall into the energies of mystery, into nothingness, into a limitless space with faith that love and light will embrace us. We slowing down, creating space, soften, and harmonize with the flow of our own lives.
- We cultivate a joyful curiosity: As Saint Oran said, “the way we think it is may not be the way it is at all!” Following Oran, we release our preconceptions, assumptions, agendas, expectations and convictions, surrendering our lives into this Mystery.
II. Cherishing Creation
Creation is a Revelation
of Love’s Holy Mystery.
We Cherish the Revelation of Creation
With all our Hearts, Souls, Minds and Bodies.
- We Commit to Communion with All Creation: We contemplate, play with, co-create, learn from, and celebrate the fullness of energies, spirits, and beings at work on the unfolding of the cosmic purpose through creation, and we experience that communion in our relationships with the sacred earth.
- We Commit to Stewardship: We are just stewards of the time, energy, skills, and resources, and the sacred earth entrusted to us by Creation.
- We Commit to Life-long Learning: We are life-long students of the Sacred Earth, the Stars, and of all living Creatures, as icons and messengers of the Divine Mystery.
III. Courageous Sharing
We are, each one of us,
the Response of Love’s Holy Mystery
to the Revelation of Creation.
We Devote Ourselves to the Courageous Work
of Unfolding the Fullness of that Response
in Ourselves and in All Humanity,
Growing and Flowing in the Spirit of Love and Oneness.
We are, each one of us,

- We Honor, Serve, Protect and Hold Space for the Authentic Unfolding of Every Being: We flow forth from Oneness, unfolding into infinite diversity in the process of life and flowing back into the Oneness. We celebrate both diversity and oneness without fear or inertia, and in so doing, we celebrate our kinship in and of that Divine Mystery. We bear witness to, protect, and nurture diversity with a spirit of compassionate oneness in love, respecting everyone and everything and allowing them their divine space and unique process of emergence.
- We Listen for the Inspiration of Our Own Truth Deep Within: We seek, as constant pilgrims in life, to be open to the unfolding of the Divine Mystery’s creative activity, to be daily guided, energized, inspired by that activity, and to incarnate that activity within us.
- We Commit to the Incarnation of Our Deepest and Most Authentic Work: Our work is to do and be the Presence of Love’s Holy Mystery, to incarnate the Divine’s Word and Whim and Work now! Our work is the Divine’s work, and the Divine’s work is our work. We are here to Be, to Live, to Flow and to Serve in the Spirit of Love, Peace, and Joy.
IV. Standing Together
We are the Companions of Oran.
- We Commit to Sharing Our Truth with Each Other: We share with our Partners our visions, ambitions, and dreams for their loving considerations and corrections, letting them support and celebrate our unique being.
- We Commit to Empowering Each Other: We support our Partners in their vocations and assist them in their work as long as it manifest’s the Divine Mystery’s creative work and energies, supporting and celebrating every person’s unique being.
- We Commit to Stand By Each Other: We will be Partners of Oran and this Sacred Earth as long as we are able.
